Most holidays honor anniversaries of major events in history, and the celebrations are representations of what those events stand for.

On St. Patrick’s Day, the celebration is less precise. Instead, we embraces an entire culture on and around March 17, when everyone is encouraged to go green — if you will — in their own way. At the top of the list is enjoying Irish cuisine, and while delicious and pretty to look at, a Shamrock Shake is not a traditional Irish delicacy.
