Albert E. Serewicz Jr.
Albert E. Serewicz Jr., 101, of Northbrook, died in the house he designed and built on June 13.
He was the beloved husband for 72 years of Donna Serewicz nee Walsh; loving father of Patricia (Joe) Schuld, Joan (Mark) Foster, John Serewicz and the late Catherine Serewicz (Patrick O’Connor); cherished grandfather of Laureen, Andrea, Marlee, Megan and Kathryn; great grandfather of Morgan, Adelynn and Abigale.
Serewicz was a self educated engineer and original executive with Telephone Data Systems Inc. He will be missed by all who knew him.

Susan G. Mullins
Susan Goetz Mullins, 88, of Northbrook, died June 16.
She was born in Milwaukee and attended Lawrence College and Northwestern University. She enjoyed curling at the Chicago Curling Club for many years and was an avid bridge player. She is survived by her loving daughters Jamie Mullins, Lauren (Don) Chandler and Julie (John) Murray, and her cherished grandchildren Jack, Matt, Ben, Jordan, Ryan and Brooke.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 53 years, Kenneth A. Mullins. Private family services were held.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in her name to the American Cancer Society, The Epilepsy Foundation or Wounded Warriors.
Eugene H. Deutsch
Eugene H. Deutsch, 94, of Northbrook, died.
He was the beloved husband and best friend of Joy, nee Korshak, for 68 wonderful years; loving father of Gary (Barbara) Deutsch, Nancy (David) Schmidt, Rhonda (Alan) Abramson and the late Alan Deutsch; cherished grandpa of Abbey (Sean) Cross, Jaclyn Deutsch, Samantha (Danny) Haughney, Adam (Melissa) Schmidt, Todd (Victoria) Schmidt, Nicole Abramson and Halle Abramson; adored great grandpa of Charlie, Parker and Annie Cross, Brooks and Millie Haughney, Henry Schmidt and Ronen Schmidt; devoted son of the late Florence and Nathan Deutsch; dear brother of the late Melvin and the late Bernice; treasured uncle, cousin and friend of many.
Deutsch was the founder and owner of Decoma Day Camp of Northbrook, his pride and joy for 70 years where he was integral in enriching the summers and lives of thousands of children. Beloved gym teacher at Gregory and Emmet Schools in Chicago for over 20 years, Eugene touched the lives of his students to whom he always referred to as “his kids.”
