The message is “Hunger is unacceptable in our community,” and the men, women and children who came to the annual Pantry Palooza got the message.

Proceeds from the third annual music fest that immediately followed Glenview Summer Fest Saturday, June 29, went to the Northfield Township Food Pantry that provides assistance to more than 560 households in Glenview, Northbrook and Northfield.

“Our pantry auxiliary conceived it and ran with it,” said Northfield Township Supervisor Jill Brickman.
