A 40-year-old woman from Glenview was shot and killed Tuesday, June 4, in Chicago, according to the Cook County Medical Examiner’s Office.

Johanna Garrison, of the 10000 block of Dearlove Road, was pronounced dead at 9:11 p.m. June 4 at a residence in the 2200 block of West Grand Avenue in Chicago’s West Town neighborhood, medical examiner records show.

An autopsy determined the cause of Garrison’s death was a gunshot wound to the neck, according to records from the Medical Examiner’s Office.
